Have You Been Thinking About Sobriety?
If you’re reading this now, you’re either drunk, high on drugs, or both and just like yesterday and every other night you’re thinking about Sobriety. You most likely feel alone with remorse eating you up, but at the same time, you can’t admit to anyone that you need help and you also don’t think that you’re ready for help. Your not alone and I know exactly how you are feeling right now, but forget about that for now and keep on reading, I think you’ll like what I wrote.
A few things about us:
What we are not.
We are not a paid membership site: You may need extra money for Mary-Jane.
We are not counselors: I tried smoking drugs, but I didn’t inhale 🙂 No Way! I was too wasted to get my degree in Psychology, plus I spent enough time counseling myself.
We are not a rehab center: This would be a good business, but I live in a small one bedroom apartment so NO, not a rehab joint.
We are a legal online drug and alcohol retail store – NOT!! I’m actually just testing if you are still paying attention.
Who are we?
We were professional alcoholics and drug addicts(or both). We have over 30 years of experience in this field, and I promise you that we were damn good at it! 2nd to none!
Here are a few of our remarkable accomplishments.
Wasted Time! Oh Yeah – 30 Years baby! My buddy went for over 40 years, he’s my hero.
Never missed a single day of getting high on drugs, intoxicated or even better Both! Told you we’re good at what we do.
Broken relationship with friends and family members who really cared about us. Well – I didn’t need their help anyway cause I was just fine and it was great that they left me alone with my glass of wine.
Broken marriage and family. She didn’t understand me, so we just grew apart, and my son was better off with her anyway.
Lost Job or business. I’m a brilliant person, and I can get a new job or start another business whenever I want to – after I enjoy my glass of 100 proof whiskey
My name is Hamilton Magtibay and you just read a quick summary of my life. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol for over thirty years, and I also knew people who were or still are fighting addiction in upwards of thirty-five to fifty years or worst – life.
I’m not throwing these numbers around as if its battle scars or bragging rights from my addiction. I’m telling you about this hoping you can realize that your future could be in trouble.
If you went through the same experience or if you’re still fighting addiction, please consider telling your story – I’m sure it can help anyone battling addiction. When you tell us your story please use a fictitious name so you can remain anonymous. Unless you’re crazy like me announcing to the world that you were an alcoholic and a drug user, then, by all means, write on.
